Today, Sunday, October 4, the CUPRA Rotterdam Premier Padel P2 (Rotterdam Ahoy, €264,534 in prize money) wraps up its week with finals day: two matches on Centre Court from 16:00 Spanish time (11:00 in Argentina), both on Red Bull TV and Movistar Plus in Spain. And both finals come with their own history: Ari Sánchez played her 100th professional final on Saturday — the youngest player ever to reach that mark — and Stupaczuk-Sanz will play their first Premier Padel final as a pair. At stake in each draw: the title and up to 300 FIP points.

Ari Sánchez: the youngest player ever to reach 100 finals

Saturday's women's semi-finals produced two straight-set results and one big exit: the No. 1 seeds, Gemma Triay and Delfi Brea, are out of Rotterdam, falling at the penultimate hurdle for the second straight tournament (in Paris, Calvo-Fernández had been their executioners). This time it was Ari Sánchez and Andrea Ustero, superior from start to finish, winning 6-2 6-3 in one hour and 19 minutes.

The win carries double value for Ari: it snaps a three-match losing streak against the No. 1s (Bordeaux P2, London P1 and Madrid P1) and delivers a historic milestone. At 29, the Catalan becomes the youngest padel player ever to reach 100 professional finals, a club that, among active players, only Gemma Triay and Alejandra Salazar had joined before.

"I'm very happy to reach my 100th final, but I don't think about it. I feel so lucky to play padel… I'm super happy to play one more final," Magic Ari said after the win.

Josemaría-González, chasing a seventh title of the season

In the other semi-final, Paula Josemaría and Bea González got past the No. 4 seeds, Claudia Fernández and Martina Calvo, 6-3 6-4. The young London P1 champions had played the final in three of the four tournaments since they formed as a pair; the only time they fell before the final was, precisely, against Paula and Bea.

Perlamita reach their seventh final of the season with two goals: to win a title for the first time since June, at the Valladolid P2, and to become the pair with the most trophies of 2026, trimming the No. 1s' lead at the top of the FIP Race.

Tapia-Coello, one step away from stretching their Race lead

In the men's draw, Agustín Tapia and Arturo Coello got the job done the way they usually do at this tournament: dropping a set, as in the quarter-finals, and then closing it out. The No. 1s beat Momo González and Lucas Campagnolo 6-1 3-6 6-1 and are the only survivors of the top four seeds in a draw turned upside down.

Defending champions at the Ahoy and fresh from retaining their Paris Major title, the Golden Boys have an extra prize in play today: with Galán-Chingotto out since the quarter-finals, lifting the trophy would give them 1,020 more points of lead over their closest rivals in the FIP Race.

Stupa-Sanz: a first final together after winning the battle for the top 4

Their opponents are one of the pairs of the week: Franco Stupaczuk and Jon Sanz, who posted a 6-0 6-4 in 79 minutes against Mike Yanguas and Coki Nieto — a replay of the FIP Gold Belgrade final from a few weeks ago, which also fell the Hispano-Argentine way — after knocking out Galán-Chingotto in Friday's quarter-finals.

Saturday gave them more than a final: with the win over their former partners they secured the No. 4 seed for the two remaining tournaments of the European swing (Germany P2 and Milan P1). It will also be their first Premier Padel final as a pair, a week after losing the FIP Platinum Lyon final to Leal-Guerrero.

"We are building a great team. We're back in another final after the FIP Platinum in Lyon last week… we like playing on Sundays! I hope this win is the start of something big," Stupa summed up.
