The Oysho Milano Premier Padel P1 heads into its second day of round-of-32 action at the Allianz Cloud this Wednesday with the big names finally on court: the top four men's seeds all make their debut today. Tapia-Coello (1) open against qualifiers Ayats-Sánchez Chamero, Galán-Chingotto (2) meet the Portuguese Deus brothers, Augsburger-Lebrón (3) face Quílez-Mouriño and Stupa-Sanz (4) close the day against Solano-Pereyra. The women's draw also wraps up its first round today, with the top four favourites — Triay-Brea, Josemaría-Bea González, Sánchez-Ustero and Fernández-Calvo — spared the first round and debuting straight into Thursday's round of 16.
Tuesday's scare
The first day of the round of 32 delivered the tournament's first big upset: Jofre-Esbrí (12) fell 6-3 6-3 to Diestro-Sintes, while the other seeds were made to work hard to varying degrees. Di Nenno-Paquito Navarro (5) gave Jensen-Gala no chance (6-3 6-3), Yanguas-Lijó (8) beat Ruiz-González (7-6(5) 6-2) and Momo González-Campagnolo (7) needed a comeback against Barahona-Piotto (4-6 6-3 6-2). Seeds 6, 11, 15 and 16 — Guerrero-Leal, Bautista-Bergamini, Libaak-Alfonso and Garrido-De Pascual — all wrapped it up in straight sets too. In the women's draw, Salazar-Osoro (8) posted the day's most commanding scoreline (6-0 6-3 over Collombon-Sharifova) and Velasco-Eugenio caused a stir by knocking out Guinart-Alonso (7), 4-6 6-4 7-5.
Milan, the penultimate European stop of the year
The tournament — a fifth edition in Milan, €479,068 in prize money and 1,000 points for the champions — lands right in the middle of the race for No. 1: Tapia-Coello (39,822 FIP ranking points) defend their status with 11 titles in 2026 and the Paris-Rotterdam-Düsseldorf European treble, while Galán-Chingotto (35,446) want to lift the trophy again at the Allianz Cloud, where they won last year. The top two seeds sit in opposite halves of the draw, so a rematch can only come in Sunday's final. Behind them, Stupa-Sanz enter their first event as fourth seeds after three finals without a trophy (Lyon, Rotterdam and Düsseldorf) — and they already know what it takes to beat the world's second-best pair this season.

Ahead of them, Triay-Brea arrive as the draw's top seeds, with the young Fernández-Calvo — champions in London and Düsseldorf — looming as the fourth pair.
