The Oysho Milano Premier Padel P1 wrapped up its quarter-finals on Friday without a single upset: the top eight seeds — the top four in each draw — all booked their spots, setting up the «perfect» semi-finals the ranking ordered at the Allianz Cloud. Play starts today, Saturday, from 14:00 CEST (09:00 in Argentina), with Sunday's final at 15:00 and the tournament's €479,068 plus 1,000 FIP points for the champion on the line.

Tapia-Coello: revenge in 59 minutes

The world No. 1s needed just 59 minutes to brush aside Fran Guerrero and Javi Leal, 6-2 6-2. This was no ordinary opponent: in Pretoria they were the pair who kept Tapia and Coello out of the final and ended a run of 27 consecutive finals. The reply was emphatic.

Champions in Milan in 2024, the Golden Boys are on a tear: they have won the last three tournaments on the tour — the Paris Major, Rotterdam and Düsseldorf — taking their 2026 tally to 11 titles and a 70-7 record. In the semi-finals they meet Stupa-Sanz, who beat Momo González and Campagnolo 6-3 6-4. Stupaczuk and Sanz have lost their last three finals (Lyon, Rotterdam and Düsseldorf, the last two against Tapia-Coello themselves) and are hunting their first title together, boosted by their new status as the tour's fourth seeds from this Milano P1. They knocked out Galán-Chingotto in Rotterdam's quarter-finals and again in Düsseldorf's semi-finals.

Galán and Lebrón: two kings, one throne

The most anticipated head-to-head is in the other semi-final: Ale Galán (with Fede Chingotto) against Juan Lebrón (with Leo Augsburger). They are the two most decorated players at the Allianz Cloud: Galán has played all four finals in the tournament's four editions and won three (2022 and 2023 with Lebrón; 2025 with Chingotto), while Lebrón owns two more titles, both alongside Galán — though he has not reached a Milan final since 2023.

Defending champions Galán and Chingotto survived their toughest test of the week against Alfonso-Libaak (6-3 and 7-6(4)), the in-form pair of the European swing, who pushed them to a second-set tie-break. Lebrón and Augsburger, meanwhile, worked through an awkward clash with Garrido and De Pascual (7-6(1) 6-3), the pair who stunned Paquito Navarro and Di Nenno in the round of 16.

No surprises in the women's draw; Salazar waves goodbye

There were no upsets in the women's draw either. Triay-Brea were made to work the hardest — 6-2 7-6 against Velasco-Eugenio — and now repeat the Düsseldorf semi-final pairing with Sánchez-Ustero, who won that one 7-5 3-6 7-5. Ari's team, winners of two of the last three tournaments (the Paris Major and Rotterdam), got there with a 6-4 6-3 win over Alejandra Salazar and Aranza Osoro on a farewell night: the most decorated player in padel history — 59 titles, four years as world No. 1 and seven FIP World Cups — played her last professional match on Italian soil and was handed a trophy carrying a single word: «gracias».

In the bottom half, Calvo-Fernández crushed their former partners Ortega-Araújo 6-1 6-2 in just over an hour: the second time in two weeks they have beaten them, after Germany P2. The youngest pair on tour (18 and 20 years old) have not missed a semi-final since teaming up in July and already own two titles: London and Düsseldorf. Next up, Josemaría-Bea, who advanced after Tamara Icardo retired (6-1) on her return to competition. It will be the third meeting between the two projects on the European swing, after Rotterdam and a Düsseldorf semi-final that Calvo-Fernández won in 3h07, saving two match points.
