NOX has officially unveiled its 2027 collection, a 17-racket range organised in four families —Genius, Ventus, Pro Cup and Equation Advanced— and presented under the "100% Pure Padel" campaign, with Agustín Tapia and Miguel Lamperti as its faces since 23 September. The full catalogue is already live on the official website, with prices running from the €124.99 Equation Advanced to the €389.99 top of the range, and most models open for pre-order.

The structure is straightforward: five Genius rackets (all Tapia's), five Ventus signed by Edu Alonso, Aimar Goñi, Lamperti and Aranzazu Osoro, two more Pro Cups from Tapia plus three ML10 Pro Cups from Lamperti, and two Equation Advanced models closing the range below €130.

Genius: five rackets for the world No. 1

Agustín Tapia's range keeps the architecture of recent years but sharpens it. The Genius 18K Alum (€389.99) is the all-round option: teardrop shape, 18K Alum carbon faces and an MLD Black EVA core, at 360-375 g. Its aggressive sibling, the Genius Attack 18K Alum, keeps the materials but moves to a diamond shape and high balance for those who live at the net. Both are repeated in 12K Alum XTREM versions at the same €389.99 price, with a weave NOX describes as more consistent through temperature changes. The fifth model is the Genius 12K Alum XTREM Lite (€349.99), which drops to 350-360 g and switches to a softer HR3 White EVA core for players who want the premium range in a lighter format.

That gives Tapia seven rackets bearing his signature in 2027: five Genius models plus the Pro Cup HARD and Pro Cup SOFT.

Ventus: the family that keeps growing

NOX's big bet for 2027 sits with the Ventus line, now five rackets strong. Edu Alonso's Ventus Hybrid 12K XTREM (€349.99) is the versatile teardrop option, while Aimar Goñi's Ventus Attack 12K XTREM — one of the breakout signings of the season — matches the price with a diamond shape and an Oversize Grip extended by 30 mm, designed for two-handed power shots. Lamperti's Ventus Control 3K (€349.99) targets control with 3K carbon faces, and Aranzazu Osoro's Ventus Control 12K (€299.99) is the most accessible round-shape option of the series. The Ventus Hybrid 12K Lite (€299.99, 350-360 g) completes the family for those who prefer low weight without stepping down a tier.

Pro Cup and Equation: the entry point

At €199.99 sit Tapia's Pro Cup HARD and SOFT: teardrop shape, aluminised fibreglass and two HR3 hardness options to choose your impact feel. Lamperti's three ML10 Pro Cups (€149.99) — COORP, Rough and Silver — keep the classic round shape, aluminised fibreglass and a replaceable Smart Strap. And the Equation HARD and SOFT Advanced (€124.99) are the gateway: round moulds, 3K fibreglass, 3D texture and 355-365 g.

The technologies behind the collection

The 2027 range strengthens several fronts. The VCS vibration-absorption system arrives improved — NOX claims it filters up to 60% more vibration than the previous version, though the figure comes from the manufacturer. Weight Balance lets you play with interchangeable 2 g and 4 g counterweights (up to 8 g in total) to tune mass and balance to taste. The EOS Tunnel modifies the mould openings to influence airflow and handling, and Dual Spin combines 3D relief with a sandblasted finish for extra spin.

Which one should you choose?

If you are after control and progression, the round Equations and ML10 Pro Cups are the natural starting point, stepping up to the Ventus Control 12K if you want carbon faces. For all-round play, the teardrop Genius models (18K Alum or 12K Alum XTREM) and the Ventus Hybrid are the standard. And if your home is the net, the diamond Attack versions — Genius or Ventus — are the most demanding but also the most devastating.

Before deciding, remember that declared weight is not everything: balance and how the racket distributes its mass shape the feel in your hand far more.
